Originally designed for photographers shooting in Africa, the SafariSack bean bag is also used domestically, both on location and in the studio or sound stage. We offer two models or "shells" that feature a single compartment constructed of tough 500 denier DuPont Cordura® Plus nylon. They can be purchased empty or filled with various material. They are doubled stitched for extra strength.

Panning Plate for the SafariSack

This device provides increased stability when shooting telephoto lenses and other equipment off the SafariSack, as well as other types of beanbags, by providing a wider stance or base on top of the bag. The Panning Plate also allows your lens to rotate by adding a smooth panning movement to your equipment. This product comes with an Arca-Swiss Quick Release type of quick shoe adapter that will accept the Arca-Swiss quick release lens and camera plates. Machined out of aluminum and anodized black.
